Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing using optometry equipment and perceptual testing as directed by the doctor.
• Document therapy sessions and plan exercises for future visits.
• Explain therapy expectations to parents, doctors, and patients.
• Facilitate therapy sessions following doctor guidance.
• Educate patients and guardians on activities to develop visual skills and processing.
• Provide home activities and feedback after each session.
• Record patient results and schedule future visits.
• Communicate patient information to the doctor.
