Job summary

NORTHWEST EYE CARE PROFESSIONALS in the Portland area is seeking a Vision Therapist for full-time on-site work at our East side locations (Clackamas OR & Vancouver WA). You will conduct vision development and therapy sessions, support patients with vision-related occupational therapy, and collaborate with providers on care plans.

Training is provided; previous vision therapy or clinical experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Vision development and therapy experience required or desired.
• Experience in occupational/physical/speech therapy related to vision is valued.
• Strong communication and time-management skills are essential.
• Understanding of optometry practices is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in a team and independently in a clinical setting.

Company Description
NORTHWEST EYE CARE PROFESSIONALS is a Specialty Eye Care Clinic with multiple locations around the Portland Oregon area. We focus on various eye care services specializing in neuro visual system, vision and syntonic therapy, dry eye, ocular diseases, myopia management, infantSEE, and specialty contact lenses.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Vision Therapist located in our East side locations: Clackamas OR & Vancouver WA. The Vision Therapist will be responsible for conducting vision development and therapy sessions, working with patients on occupational therapy related to vision, and communicating effectively with the providers and caregivers on plan of care.

Qualifications

• Vision Development and Vision Therapy experience
• Experience in Occupational, Speech, and/or Physical Therapy related to vision
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of Optometry practices (preferred but not required)
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Attention to detail and multitasking abilities with a strong emphasis in time management
• Experience working in a clinical setting
• Certification in Vision Therapy or related field is beneficial, but not required
