Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years working with and troubleshooting vision systems.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, flowcharts, and schematics related to system design.
• Experience with cGMP and FDA-regulated environments preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge or experience with continuous improvement methods.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills are a plus.
• Experience with PLC programming is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment purchases and modifications to improve plant productivity.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP during design, qualification, validation, and maintenance of equipment systems.
• Manage capital and expense projects with Operations and Engineering to meet timelines and budgets.
• Contribute to change management and validation status of control systems.
• Assist with CAPA activities and implement new technology to solve problems.
• Identify opportunities to improve production processes, focusing on detection and downtime reduction.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, IT, and operations to implement changes and resolve issues.
• Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot issues affecting machine performance.
• Design and implement new features to enhance operability, efficiency, safety, quality, and data tracking.
• Provide plans to upgrade aging systems and review equipment specifications for automation alignment.
