Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years in Vision medical billing, AR, collections or denial management.
• Experience with commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and vision insurance preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel skills essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Review and work AR inventory daily and resolve unpaid or denied claims.
• Investigate denial trends and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Submit corrected claims, appeals, and supporting documentation as needed.
• Follow up with insurance carriers regarding claim status and payment delays.
• Document all account activity accurately and thoroughly.
• Coordinate resolution with Billing, Cash Posting, Patient Collections and Practice Operations teams.
