Job summary

For Eyes is a retail eyewear brand under EssilorLuxottica, seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support optometry services within a store. The role emphasizes patient care, product knowledge, and accurate handling of prescriptions and records.

You will greet customers, explain procedures, assist with frame and lens choices, and operate the POS system while maintaining store standards and HIPAA-compliant records.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly (within 30 seconds) and assist with frame/lens selection.
• Explain all required paperwork, tests, products and services in the Doctor's office.
• Review prescriptions and patient information for accuracy and address special needs with Optician or Management.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and inventory.
• Operate POS terminal with accuracy for customer/patient data and payments.
• Keep store displays aligned with company guidelines and ensure a neat appearance.
• Respond quickly to changes in store promotions and communicate to staff.
