Job summary

Tessy Plastics Corp. is seeking a Programmer to develop inspection programs for CTQ dimensions using Smart Scope vision systems and CMMs. You will analyze conformance data with Excel and Minitab, perform GR&R studies, and adjust programming for testing requirements.

Candidate should have an Associate's degree and 1+ year of relevant experience, strong GD&T knowledge, and proficient use of statistical tools. On-site role with competitive benefits in Auburn, NY.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a relevant field and/or at least 1-year experience in a CFA Level III position.
• Must have 1-year experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must apply common sense understanding to instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to problem solve involving several variables through the application of logic or scientific thinking.
• Ability to read blueprints and identify defects to establish standards.
• Understanding of GD&T.
• Must be proficient in the use of statistical tools.
• Possess attention for detail with a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop inspection programs to measure CTQ dimensions using Smart Scope vision systems and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).
• Utilize tools, computers, and safety devices to safely, accurately and efficiently verify conformance and organize and analyze data using Excel and Minitab.
• Conduct GR&R studies using vision systems and CMMs.
• Make programming adjustments and troubleshoot vision systems and CMMs to support testing requirements.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and practices.
• Assist with keeping worksites clean and orderly.
