Job summary

Midwest Eye Consultants is seeking a dedicated Technician to join our clinical team. This role prepares patients and exam rooms, performs preliminary testing, and assists physicians during procedures, contributing to accurate data for care.

Qualifications

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Interest in patient care and healthcare education.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of our preliminary testing procedures.
• Perform all preliminary and any doctor requested tests on all patients.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow throughout the office, properly communicating delays.
• Prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies.
• Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff.
• Perform other duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by the office manager or team lead, and doctor(s).
