Job summary

Target Optical, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Optometric Technician to deliver exceptional patient service and ensure high quality care. You will greet guests, explain procedures, manage paperwork, and support the Optometrist with clinical tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

We value strong guest service, communication, and math skills, plus experience with POS systems and customer care. This on-site role offers competitive pay and benefits as part of a larger eyewear

Qualifications

• 1+ year guest service experience.
• High School graduate or GED.
• Strong communicator and listener to guests and associates.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, caring, patient.
• Sales skills and knowledge of store merchandise.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide attentive service.
• Explain shopping options, forms, tests, products and timeframes.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully with appropriate care.
• Assist in maintaining store cleanliness, displays and organization.
• Operate POS system for payments and transactions.
• Provide clinical support and guidance to patients on contact lens care.
