Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optometric Technician to support patients through the Total Patient Experience. You will assist in preparing patients for exams with ophthalmologists and use equipment like lensometers, autorefractors, and keratometers to gather initial test data.

The role requires strong customer service, the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and adherence to HIPAA. Prior ophthalmic or medical office experience is preferred, and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of experience interacting with customers/patients or equivalent.
• Background check as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience and medical support with empathy and professionalism.
• Operate and calibrate testing equipment (lensometer, autorefractor, keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT).
• Follow testing scripts and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Assist with general office duties and maintain a positive, patient-focused environment.
• Flexible schedule including potential weekends as needed.
