Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a part-time EyeCare Advisor in Fort Myers to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure high-quality eye care delivery. You will greet customers, explain services, assist in selecting frames, and support both retail and clinical operations with accuracy and care.

You will work closely with Optometrists and store teams, handling prescriptions, orders, and point-of-sale transactions while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records and a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills for internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of fashion trends and product knowledge.
• Strong communicator and listener with problem-solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Excellent organization and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within 30 seconds with a friendly approach.
• Explains paperwork, tests, products and services to customers.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information with attention to detail.
• Works with Optician/Doctor to address special needs.
• Operates POS and processes payments accurately.
• Maintains store appearance and responds to promotions.
• Performs pre-examination testing and supports optical staff.
• Handles patient records in a HIPAA-compliant manner.
