Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to prototype, build, and ship conversational and generative AI systems for Vision devices.

You will work at the intersection of ML research and product engineering, translating ideas into scalable, privacy-preserving features within Apple’s Vision products. You will collaborate with researchers, PMs, designers, and platform engineers to define problems, iterate on solutions, and ship features that meet Apple’s reliability and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• PhD +3 yrs or MS +5 yrs relevant experience in AIML/CS/EE fields.
• Strong experience with deep learning, NLP and/or multimodal models.
• Hands-on with generative AI systems, CV models, including prompt design, fine-tuning, evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ML models for conversational understanding, generation, and personalization.
• Prototype and evaluate new model architectures and prompting strategies.
• Translate research ideas into production-ready systems across teams.
