Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers and be knowledgeable to answer questions about both the Visa program and the store
- Maintain a high standard of confidentiality and respect for privacy when working with customers who are applying for the Scheels VISA
- Professionally process completed applications, finish the check-out process, and be knowledgeable to answer questions and potential issues relating to the Scheels VISA
- Complete daily audit sheets, track store performance, and help maintain compliance with First National Bank, VISA, and Scheels regulations and standards
- Execute Card Member Appreciation Days or other special promotions at a high level according to standards set by the bank and Scheels
- Stock VISA materials daily at the kiosk and throughout the store as needed. During promotions, make sure all signage is in place and remove it when the event ends
- Assist the VISA Coordinator in training staff and completing the annual all-store VISA compliance training
- Maintain an orderly appearance of your personal workspace and the Visa booth
- Excellent communication and customer service skills (both written and verbal), as well as organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including but not limited to discounts, percentages, and interest
- Ability to communicate procedures, answer questions, and offer to associates, customers, and the general public
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and the ability to learn Google systems like Drive, Google Docs, etc.
- Must be available to work during the hours of 8 am–9 pm Monday through Saturday, 11 am–7 pm on Sundays
Education & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an associate’s degree from a 2-year college or technical school, or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work.
