Job summary

GO Tutor Corps seeks a Virtual Tutoring Coordinator to run day-to-day operations of its virtual tutoring program, ensuring high-quality, equitable instruction for students in the New York City area and surrounding region.

Responsibilities include scheduling, tutor coverage, roster management, and communications with tutors and school partners, plus observations and coaching to uplift instructional quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in education.
• Strong logistical and operational management skills with real-time coordination.
• Experience using a rubric to observe tutors or teachers; effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of the virtual tutoring program and scheduling.
• Manage attendance, coverage plans, and real-time schedule adjustments.
• Observe tutors, provide feedback, and support curriculum engagement.
• Communicate with tutors, school partners, and GO staff; share program updates.
