This 1099 contract role follows the school calendar, with immediate start dates contingent on placement. You will deliver curriculum via our virtual platform, develop aligned lesson plans, and collaborate with on-site facilitators to support student

Qualifications

• Must have active TVI certification or willingness to seek Arizona reciprocity.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Laptop/desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet.

Responsibilities

• Access our educator portal to select the jobs you take on.
• Teach the school's curriculum on the district's virtual platform.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum.
• Foster creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment.
• Engage and nurture student learning through relationship-focused strategies.
• Track student grades and performance.
• Attend district PD sessions and faculty meetings.
• Partner with the in-class facilitator physically present with students.

Job description

• $55-$57/hr. Rates are negotiable and subject to change
• 1:1 sessions will take place during the school day (9 AM to 3 PM MST); 5 hours daily
• Fully remote, 1099 contract opportunity
• Valid Arizona Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification is required OR must be willing to seek AZ reciprocity.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

The Role

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.

As a Fullmind educator, you will:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and currently hold an active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification. Must be Arizona certified OR willing to seek Arizona reciprocity.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
• Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration + submit a background check as part of the application process.
• Prior online teaching experience is a plus!
