Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065/1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season.
• Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney
• 2+ years of experience preparing federal and state individual 1040 returns
• Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation
• Experience preparing Schedule C returns
• Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, permits, or bonds
• Must possess an active PTIN
• Working knowledge of Circular 230
• Proficient with technology and computer operations
• Strong customer service via video/audio tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment during peak filing
• Must have or obtain dedicated hardwired internet and quiet workspace
• Must reside in the United States

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers via video communications to provide tax advice and guidance.
• Perform full service business return preparation and signature for Partnerships and S Corporations.
• Answer product/software inquiries and explain tax calculations.
• Document customer interactions and maintain quality records.
• Meet company KPIs and participate in pilot testing and training programs.
