Qualifications

• 3+ years preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065/1120-S) for 20+ clients per season.
• Active unrestricted credential: EA/CPA/Practicing Attorney.
• 2+ years preparing federal and state individual 1040 returns for compensation.
• Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation.
• Experience with Schedule C and service-industry business tax returns.
• Must possess or obtain related state licenses/certificates.
• Active PTIN required.
• Circular 230 knowledge.
• Proficient with technology and software.
• Strong customer service via video and audio tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Critical thinking and problem solving.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Available during peak filing periods (March 15, April 15).
• Dedicated hardwired internet and quiet workspace required.
• Residency in the United States is required.

Responsibilities

• This is a virtual, customer-facing role; use video communications software to interact with customers.
• Provide tax advice and full-service business return preparation and signature for TurboTax Live Business customers.
• Address product/software inquiries and explain tax calculations and extensions.
• Document customer interactions and align with company policies and KPIs.
• Participate in pilot tests and trainings as needed.
