PCS employs approximately 420 staff members. The company has offices in New York, NY; Schaumburg, IL; and St. Petersburg, FL. PCS has a geographically diverse workforce and supports hybrid and remote business-based flexibility.

Job Summary:

The Virtual Strategic Relationship Manager (VSRM) will report directly to the Distribution Relationship Leader and will be responsible for overseeing and driving the growth, strategy, and performance of PCS insurance distribution partners in a remote capacity. This role will strengthen broker and agency partnerships through virtual engagement, ensuring the delivery of tailored insurance solutions that protect the lifestyle and assets of HNW individuals. The successful candidate is an effective communicator who can align and influence internal and external stakeholders while building trust and commitment for PCS.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Relationship Management

  • Engage in ongoing virtual communication of the underwriting strategy, including large account targets, to deliver growth and profitability while maximizing distribution value.
  • Execute virtual broker plans, benchmark wealth segments, and monitor top producer progress to capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Analyze industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.

Partnership Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned brokers, agents, and distributors specializing in HNW clientele through virtual meetings and digital engagement strategies.
  • Identify and cultivate distribution partners that align with PCS’s large account strategy and product offerings.
  • Provide virtual training, webinars, and digital resources to ensure distributors understand the unique aspects of PCS HNW insurance products.
  • Leverage virtual platforms to conduct sales meetings, product presentations, and relationship-building initiatives.

Client-Centric Solutions

  • Collaborate remotely with underwriting teams, brokers and clients to tailor offerings and unique insurance solutions that align with client needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring a high-touch experience through personalized virtual consultations.

Performance Management

  • Monitor overall production of account pipeline, activity, prospects and customer acquisition through pipeline reporting and Salesforce application.
  • Regularly review channel performance against growth objectives and provide virtual coaching and guidance to distribution partners.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Distribution Relationship Leader and other Field stakeholders on annual budgeting processes and strategy development.
  • Partner with the National Distribution Leader, Large Account Leader, and Underwriting to drive business growth and expand PCS’s presence in the HNW market.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 5+ years in personal insurance, with at least 2 years focusing on HNW client distribution.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and growth targets in a virtual or hybrid environment.

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of HNW client needs and luxury asset protection.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation and virtual communication skills.
  • Highly skilled in strategic development, business building, and project execution, with a proven ability to deliver key programs on time.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, virtual presentation platforms, and digital engagement strategies.
  • Remarkable communication skills, including the ability to develop and present clear and concise analysis and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and proven ability to dissect complex business issues, perform research and analysis and synthesize conclusions into a value-maximizing strategy.
  • Comfortable working in a fully virtual or hybrid role with proficiency in digital collaboration tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced remote setting.
