Soliant is seeking a qualified Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver teletherapy to students in a fully remote, contract-based role. The position requires an active Alabama SLP license, a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, and CCC-SLP, with 1+ year in school settings preferred.

The role offers flexible 1099 engagement, 30–40 hours per week, and weekly pay at $38–$45 per hour. Alabama-based school district clients expect compliant, student-centered services.

Position Type: Contract (1099)

About The Role

This is a fully remote, independent contractor (1099) position offering flexibility and autonomy while supporting student success in communication and learning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual speech and language assessments and evaluations for students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and treatment plans
• Provide engaging teletherapy sessions aligned with educational standards
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
• Monitor student progress and participate in virtual IEP meetings as needed

Qualifications

• Alabama SLP License (Must be licensed in state of residence if outside of Alabama)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

Experience Working In School-based Settings Strongly Preferred

• Familiarity with IEP processes and educational compliance requirements
• Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology for virtual service delivery
