Job summary

ACCEL Schools seeks a School Transformation & Strategic Improvement leader in Florida to partner with Principals to drive measurable student achievement and instructional quality through evidence-based strategies.

You will translate goals into concrete actions, monitor progress, and ensure resources align with top improvement priorities, while guiding systemic change and accountability across campuses.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Educational Leadership, Educational Administration, Curriculum and Instruction, School Improvement, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of successful school or district-level leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting school turnaround, school transformation, comprehensive school improvement, or significant organizational change.
• Strong understanding of Florida public school systems and building-level management.
• Experience using student and school performance data to drive instructional and organizational decisions.
• Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring school improvement plans.
• Experience with program evaluation and continuous improvement processes.
• Strong understanding of effective instructional practices and instructional leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and build consensus while maintaining accountability.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong project-management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Principals and school leadership to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate comprehensive improvement and transformation priorities.
• Translate strategic goals into clearly defined action steps, measurable outcomes, timelines, lead measures, and accountability structures.
• Monitor implementation of the improvement plan and identify barriers to execution.
• Establish systems for progress monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular reviews of school performance and provide actionable feedback to Principals.
• Identify root causes of performance gaps and develop evidence-based strategies.
• Align people, time, resources, and systems to high-priority goals.
• Develop and monitor corrective action plans when progress stalls.
• Evaluate effectiveness and sustainability of school improvement initiatives.
