Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations for K-12 students per guidelines.
  • Familiarity with evaluation tools.
  • Complete Initial Evaluations and Re-evaluations.
  • Complete Assessment Plans, RORs/REEDs, and FBAs.
  • Provide virtual administration of cognitive and achievement assessments following tele-assessment standards.
  • Integrate assessment results into comprehensive reports and submit paperwork.
  • Present findings at ETR meetings and collaborate with school teams on eligibility.
  • Maintain case rosters for all school psychologists.
  • Participate in MTSS/RTI and attend meetings as needed.
  • Plan and deliver professional development for staff.
  • Supervise a team of school psychologists.
  • Work ~80% remotely and ~20% in person within Columbus schools.

Job description

  • Conduct virtual psychoeducational evaluations for students K through 12 according to federal, state, and school guidelines
  • Familiarity with evaluation tools
  • Complete Initial Evaluation and Re-evaluations
  • Complete Assessment Plans, RORs/REEDs, and FBAs
  • Provide virtual administration of cognitive and achievement assessments following best practice tele-assessment standards
  • Conduct other portions of the evaluation, including interviews and virtual observations, adaptive behavior, social/emotional behavior, and executive functioning assessments
  • Integrate assessment results into a comprehensive evaluation report and submit paperwork as needed
  • Present evaluation findings at ETR meetings and collaborate with school teams regarding eligibility determination
  • Excellent knowledge of principles and evidence-based practices
  • Participating in training and meetings as needed
  • Attend ETR/RETR meetings to discuss results of assessments
  • Maintain case rosters for all school psychologists
  • Participate as a member of the MTSS/RTI
  • Hold reoccurring meetings with each school psychologist to ensure compliancy
  • Plan and hold professional development and training for staff
  • Supervise a team of school psychologists
  • School Psychologist will be working approximately 80% remotely and 20% in person within our Columbus schools

  • Master’s Degree or Ed.S degree
  • Professional Ohio School Psychologist License
  • Proficiency with computers and online documentation skills
