Main Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers, handling pre- and post-sale activities for sales within a prescribed dollar amount and complexity.
  • Coordinate with outside sales teams to ensure comprehensive coverage of customer needs.
  • Follow up proactively on warm leads and quotes for the Service Business Line.
  • Provide information on all Service Products.
  • Manage open territory and lapsed service customers to drive sales.
  • Collaborate with applications and tech support teams to recommend product alternatives that meet customer requirements and support sales goals.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell other Leybold products and set up leads for new equipment, service, and contracts.
  • Actively promote Leybold service products and identify opportunities for expansion.
  • Maintain customer databases and document activities using CRM.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role requires sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, typing, and reaching. Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds is necessary. The position involves frequent computer use and may require 10-20% travel. Specific vision abilities include close, color, distance, and depth perception.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience
Education
  • B.S. in Engineering, Technical, Business, or Marketing with a technical aptitude
Experience
  • 1-3 years of technical experience preferred
  • Experience with vacuum equipment or technical product sales is a plus

Compensation

The salary range varies by location, e.g., $78,206.90 - $100,198.35 in CO and CA, and $85,679.20 - $108,911.25 in WA. Compensation depends on qualifications.
