Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Virtual Registered Nurse (VRN) to join our Together Team. While titled Virtual RN, the role is on-site at the central HUB VRN located at Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring and rotates weekends and holidays.
The VRN collaborates with bedside RNs and CNAs to manage patient care via digital platforms, adheres to ANA standards, and reports to nursing leadership. BSN preferred; MD RN license and five years acute care experience required.

Model brings added patient safety, expertise, and mentoring to bed side and leverages technology The Virtual Nurse is a collaborative member of the medical surgical unit care team and is responsible for collaboration and facilitation of optimal provision of care through virtual daily management of care as prescribed by the American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Practice and Professional Performance. In addition, the Virtual Nurse is accountable to practice in accordance with the standards established/endorsed by the Holy Cross Health leadership and by external regulators and accreditation agencies. The Virtual Nurse actively promotes the Holy Cross Health Model of Care and the nursing profession, in fulfillment of the Holy Cross Health Quality Plan for Nursing. The Virtual Nurse is accountable to drive nursing practice though facilitation of shared governance. The Virtual Nurse is expected to abide by the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses. The Virtual Nurse will have a reporting relationship with the nursing leadership of the clinical unit.
$42.58 - $59.19. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
