Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of registered dietitians to deliver compassionate virtual nutrition care for menopause transitions. You will conduct synchronous video visits, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and guide patients through multi-week programs focused on metabolic health and bone health.

As a 1099 independent contractor, you control your schedule, use AI tools to streamline charting, and deliver evidence-based care with autonomy.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) with a license to practice in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients during midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive care plan and patient outcomes.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program format to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits conducted through the Pomelo platform.
