Job summary

Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Virtual Pathway Student Ambassador to support recruitment and student engagement. You will create innovative outreach, coordinate campus experiences, and train current students to host visitors.

This role is part-time (approx. 5 hours per week), pays $30 per hour, up to $300 per pay period, and runs Oct 5, 2026 through Apr 20, 2027. You must be an HUC student and join a nationwide ORA team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of graduate and/or seminary schooling and training.
• 1+ years in community engagement programming.
• 2 years of active membership in the HUC community; should be current student.

Responsibilities

• Create virtual experiences for prospective students and coordinate campus visits.
• Train current students to host visits and coordinate schedules.
• Invite and host conversations for prospects for programs on campus.
• Support Open House planning and on-campus interviews.
• Manage reimbursements for hosted meals and travel.
• Report on campus visits with follow-up recommendations.
• Conduct research for recruitment strategies and admissions processing.
• Handle prospective student communications and admissions guidance.
