We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Virtual Rebate Program Specialist.

The Virtual Rebate Program Specialist will serve within a virtual team-based customer support setting. He or she will be a point of contact for customers desiring education about the rebate programs associated with these products. The VRPS will manage targeted accounts while working to identify and develop relationships with key decision makers within those targeted accounts.

The VRPS’s primary responsibility is to appropriately communicate, educate, and explain to practices and practice leadership the rebate program(s) while using approved messaging and materials. To help educate practices there is a requirement for clinical, business and analytical acumen, payer coverage and reimbursement information that the VRPS can provide to ensure that practices understand the products themselves and the patient access landscape. This contextual information must be communicated using approved materials and messaging.

  • Develop virtual business relationships with key medical and office staff of targeted practices through understanding and meeting the needs of the practices.
  • Adeptly and quickly profile and understand client/product programs that align with customer-specific needs for “at-the-ready”, inbound and outbound, impactful customer conversations aligned with business objectives and goals.
  • Proactively pull through rebate contracts within key profiled customer accounts.
  • Understand the current and emerging trends and understand the business impact within the ophthalmology landscape to proactively identify customer needs and opportunities.
  • Demonstrate market knowledge and skill in customer profiling and identification to address business opportunities within key business segments.
  • Handle other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree and/or master's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 3 years of virtual pharma or healthcare sales experience with primary focus supporting Field-Facing commercial roles. (Sales, Reimbursement, Market Access, other Commercial)
  • Knowledge and experience working in a buy and bill marketplace
  • Proven ability to lead and create accountability across a matrix team.
  • Ability to engage, develop relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to create and execute successful, accountable, engagement plans.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $97,000. The actual salary will vary based on various factors such as qualifications, skills, and proficiency for the role. Some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on performance.
