Pomelo Care is a leading virtual medical practice focused on women and children’s health. This is a 1099 independent contractor role for a registered dietitian delivering synchronous nutrition visits for midlife and menopause transitions.

You will provide one-on-one virtual nutrition care via phone and video, participate in a multi-week program, and document visits accurately. Independent contractor terms mean no employee benefits, with support from Pomelo for credentialing and billing.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an RD/RDN in Indiana and able to commit at least 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Minimum 3 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition therapy for metabolic syndrome, weight management, osteoporosis, gut health, and plant-forward diets.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems.
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently during patient visits.

Responsabilités

• Conduct synchronous video visits with patients navigating midlife, perimenopause, and menopause transitions.
• Provide one-on-one virtual nutrition care via phone and video to facilitate lifestyle changes.
• Work with patients in a multi-week program format to support symptom improvement and sustained behavior change.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Follow applicable clinical, documentation, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for visits conducted through Pomelo.
