Job summary

Pomelo Care is a leading virtual medical practice delivering nutrition care to women and children across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. Join our network as a registered dietitian to provide evidence-based care via telehealth, with a flexible schedule and support from a multidisciplinary team.

You will conduct synchronous video visits, document thoroughly, and work as a 1099 contractor, with compensation per active visit hour and onboarding bonus.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) with a license to practice in any US state.
• Candidates licensed in multiple states are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong clinical independence and excellent communication skills; collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for midlife and menopausal patients.
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty care team to ensure cohesive care plans and outcomes.
• Manage care over a multi-week program to support sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition, bone and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all Pomelo visits.
