Job summary

North South Consulting Group, LLC seeks an online Pharmacist to support a major pharmaceutical client's direct online pharmacy. You will review, verify, and dispense prescriptions through an online platform while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Using electronic prescription systems and virtual communication tools, you will provide medication counseling, answer questions, and collaborate with prescribers to optimize patient care in a digital environment.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. degree from an accredited institution.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in required states.
• Knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, dispensing, interactions, and safety.
• Ability to review prescriptions and make clinical decisions.
• Familiarity with electronic prescribing and digital workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and approve prescription orders via online platforms and electronic prescribing systems.
• Verify accuracy, dosing, interactions, allergies, and therapeutic appropriateness before dispensing.
• Oversee processing, preparation, labeling, packaging, and fulfillment according to procedures.
• Provide medication counseling through telephone, secure messaging, or video consultations.
• Respond to patient inquiries on usage, dosage, side effects, storage, and adherence.
• Communicate with prescribers to resolve concerns and support patient care.
