Job summary

Catholic Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Virtual Patient Safety Attendant. This on-site role monitors patient safety from a station, identifying risks and communicating with the care team to protect patients while maintaining privacy and dignity.

Responsibilities include documenting activity, alerting staff to risks, and collaborating with the health care team to foster a compassionate, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year patient care related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Watching patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Identifying risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alerting the care team to intervene quickly and protect patients.
• Documenting patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout your shift.
• Honoring patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times.
• Collaborating closely with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork.
