Job summary

Northwest Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health, seeks an Onsite Virtual Registered Nurse (OVRN) to deliver safe, age-appropriate care in a virtual setting for adult inpatients.

The OVRN partners with bedside staff to focus on admissions, assessments, care plans, education, discharge planning, and teaching, requiring at least 2 years of bedside RN experience and a Maryland license or eligibility. BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of bedside nursing experience in adult inpatient setting.
• Nursing Degree.
• Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• Preferred: AHA Basic Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides and conducts and documents initial and ongoing clinical assessments suitable for a virtual setting, including obtaining patient history and objective and subjective data.
• Provides and documents patient education based on the established care plans.
