Compensation ranges between $67k and $80k per year, depending on geographic region, education, and experience.

Job Description

The Associate Therapist provides treatment within a multidisciplinary team, following the Discovery Clinical Model. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, milieu interventions, leading therapy groups, conducting assessments, and case management.

Responsibilities
  • Complete clinical documentation timely and meet quality standards.
  • Respond to documentation requirements for compliance.
  • Build therapeutic rapport with patients and families.
  • Manage admission assessments professionally.
  • Participate in weekly treatment teams and communicate goals.
  • Maintain a caseload of 5-6 RTC and 10-15 OP patients.
  • Conduct therapy sessions, including family sessions, as scheduled.
  • Facilitate groups and participate in discharge planning.
  • Provide utilization reviews for insurance purposes.
  • Be accessible to families, returning calls/emails promptly.
  • Assess suicidality and safety risks.
  • Support clinical team in absence of other members.
  • Coordinate with insurance and outpatient providers.
  • Manage crises effectively.
  • Support milieu staff and collaborate with the team.
  • Participate in outreach and program tours.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

RTC Only: Provide on-call support monthly and respond to program calls within 20 minutes during on-call hours.

Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctorate in a relevant field.
  • Associate clinical license in WA or OR.
  • Complete state-required therapeutic interventions.
  • Operate under supervision; not fully licensed.
  • Obtain CPI certification within 90 days.
  • Obtain CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications within 90 days.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
