Virtual Medical Assistant (MANDARIN & ENGLISH Bilingual Required) hourly

We are seeking an experienced (3 years minimum) PART TIME 20 HOURS PER WEEK, MAY BE LATER FULL TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK) - VIRTUAL MEDICAL ASSISTANT for our medical office in Southern California.

Pay: $3-$6/hr, depending on experience

Schedule: 20 hours per week, may lead to 40 hours per week

Virtual Medical Assistant Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Fluency in ENGLISH speaking, reading and writing (Required)
• Fluency in MANDARIN CHINESE speaking only (Required)
• Fast typist (there is a typing test)
• Excellent phone skills with heavy phone volume
• Making insurance authorization requests to insurance companies
• Paperwork, including lots of computer data entry
• Making appointments
• Verifying insurance eligibility
• Typing History and Physical from reading the doctor's notes or dictations (after thorough training by doctor)

Experience levels: Intermediate (3 - 5 yrs), Expert (5+ yrs)
