Great American Insurance Group is seeking an M&A Intern to support the Mergers & Acquisitions Liability team with submission processing and data management. You will download, organize, and file documents from data rooms and maintain related spreadsheets in a highly collaborative, virtual environment.

This internship emphasizes training on established processes and gradual independent work, with hands-on experience in quotes, declinations, and submission documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Pursuing degree in Risk Management and Insurance or related disciplines encouraged.
• Self-motivated with ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities

• Process M&A submissions and enter information into systems and spreadsheets.
• Monitor shared submissions inbox and organize incoming documentation.
• Download, extract, organize, and upload files from submissions and data rooms.
• Maintain electronic records including quotes, declinations, and related correspondence.
• Track submission information and maintain accurate spreadsheets.
• Follow procedures for handling large files and bulk downloads.
• Provide administrative and data-entry support to the team as needed.
