Family First Adolescent Services is seeking a Virtual Licensed Primary Therapist (FL-licensed) to join a compassionate interdisciplinary team in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. You will provide trauma-informed individual counseling, family therapy, and group coaching while delivering psycho-educational content for adolescents and their families.

Qualifikationen

Virtual Licensed (FL) Primary Therapist - Family First Adolescent Services

Family First Adolescent Services is a behavioral health treatment center located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, dedicated to helping adolescent boys (ages 12–18) and their families heal, grow, and reconnect.

Since its founding in 2014, Family First has served as a trusted resource for families navigating complex mental health, behavioral, and substance use challenges. With a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach, we create personalized treatment plans that address both the surface behaviors and deeper root causes affecting each teen.

Our comprehensive care model includes:

• Academic support , ensuring teens stay on track with their education or career readiness while in treatment.
• Experiential and holistic therapies , including adventure therapy, equine work, CrossFit, and outdoor activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional wellness.
• Continuing care and alumni support , offering follow-up for up to 12 months post-discharge to help maintain progress and resilience.
• Ongoing family engagement , focusing on healing the family system and equipping parents with tools and insights to support lasting change.All programming is delivered in safe, home-like residential settings in Palm Beach Gardens, designed to foster community, comfort, and focused healing.

FL Virtual Licensed Primary Therapist Position

Family First Adolescent Services is expanding, and we are excited to add a new member to our clinical team. Our organization is committed to a relational and developmental approach in our work with clients and families, while also supporting our staff's continuing development. We cover the cost for our entire clinical team to complete the NeuroAffective Relational Model clinical training, in addition to other personally selected trainings that support their professional growth.

Position Overview:

As a Virtual Licensed Primary Therapist (Licensed in FL), you will join a compassionate and motivated interdisciplinary treatment team. Our clients present with a variety of mental health, substance use, and behavioral disorders. At FFAS, we consider the entire family our client, focusing on helping each member find healing.

In this role, you will:

• Facilitate weekly trauma-informed individual counseling.
• Conduct family therapy.
• Lead group coaching sessions.
• Teach psycho-educational material to support the healing process for adolescents and their families.
• Facilitate virtual group sessions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in a Psychology-related field (Required)
• Licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)
• Professional treatment experience in a residential facility setting (Experience with adolescents preferred but not required)
• Advanced training in trauma therapy models such as Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, NARM, TRE, etc.
• Proficient documentation skills and experience with EMR systems
