Job summary

Greater Commonwealth Virtual School is seeking a K-5 Elementary School Teacher to join our growing public virtual school in Massachusetts. You will teach synchronous coursework under the Principal's direction, guide students to completion, and foster a supportive virtual learning environment.

Strong collaboration with families and colleagues will tailor curriculum to individual needs. Applicants should hold a valid MA DESE Elementary Education license and bring 3–5 years of elementary teaching

Qualifications

Massachusetts DESE Elementary Education license required.
3–5 years of elementary teaching experience preferred.
Ability to learn new technology tools quickly (e.g., LMS, web-based instructional tools).
Ability to travel to locations across the state as needed.

Responsibilities

Teach synchronous coursework at the elementary level under the direction of the Principal.
Lead students through successful synchronous course completion.
Foster a virtual learning environment.
