Job description

Virtual Inside Sales Pharmaceuticals (West Coast)

Position Summary:

The Virtual Inside Sales Specialist (ISS) provides professional sales support and service to Health Care Providers (HCPs) prescribing PANCREAZE and QSYMIA in "white space" territories where the Client lacks direct sales representatives. This role is remote and seeking West Coast or Mountain Time zone candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct outbound sales calls to HCP targets provided by the Commercial Team, establishing yourself as the primary brand contact for the Client.
  2. Maintain regular communication with HCPs and their staff to ensure they are informed about product updates and Patient Support Programs.
  3. Provide follow-up via email or fax after each telephonic communication.
  4. Achieve sales targets by promoting PANCREAZE and QSYMIA within FDA-approved guidelines.
  5. Maintain detailed records of contacts, calls, and interactions in the CRM system.
  6. Facilitate orders for Patient Support Materials for PANCREAZE and QSYMIA as needed.
  7. Conduct virtual Lunch-and-Learn (LNL) sessions with major HCP targets.
  8. Attend local and national trade shows as required.
  9. Manage business expenses using Concur.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  1. Inside sales, tele-sales, contact center, customer service, or pharmaceutical/healthcare roles.
  2. Pharmaceutical sales, especially in Gastroenterology, or 3-5 years of business-to-business sales.
  3. Virtual Selling experience in pharmaceuticals, and medical devices or veterinary sales ok.
  4. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution.
  5. Strong planning and prioritization skills with a self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
  6. Ability to analyze territory data and drive sales results through strategic planning.
  7. Effective communication and presentation skills across phone, email, fax, and virtual platforms.
  8. Proven ability to build long-term relationships and demonstrate value to HCPs.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems like Veeva.
  10. Ability to learn quickly, handle high call volumes, and maintain strong disease state knowledge.
  11. Adaptability to variable office processes and procedures for gaining prescriber access.
  12. High ethical standards and a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Other Requirements:

  1. Ability to travel as needed.
  2. Successful completion of self-study, training, and selling certifications.
  3. Experience managing expenses through Concur.
