Job summary

CoxHealth in Missouri is seeking an experienced RN to join the Virtual Nursing Command Center at Cox South Hospital. The eICU Virtual Nurse supports bedside RNs with admissions, care plan development, patient education and discharge teaching using centralized monitoring.

You will collaborate with virtual physicians, pharmacists, respiratory therapists and the Early Intervention Team, mentor new nurses, and implement evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program (RN).
• Mastery of nursing fundamentals and patient care processes.
• Ability to apply evidence-based nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• The eICU Virtual nurse assists with admissions, care plan development and maintenance.
• Provides patient education and discharge teaching; coordinates care.
• Mentors new nurses and supports real-time quality and safety surveillance.
