Job summary

CoxHealth in Springfield, MO is seeking a Tele-ICU/Virtual Nurse to join the Virtual Care Command Center at Cox South. The role supports bedside RNs by monitoring patient vitals, assisting with admissions and discharges, and coordinating care with virtual physicians, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and Early Intervention Team.

The Virtual Nursing team uses advanced technology to extend care from admission to discharge, offering opportunities to expand nursing knowledge in a brand-new branch

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in Missouri required, BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vitals and collaborate with bedside RNs to ensure safe patient care.
• Support admissions and discharges and assist with care planning.
• Coordinate with virtual physicians, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, and Early Intervention Team.
• Provide patient education and participate in care coordination and mentoring of new nurses.
