Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Virtual ICU Nocturnist specialized in Neuro Critical Care to support one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers.

The physician will provide expert virtual care for critically ill patients with neurological conditions, collaborating with intensivists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, and advanced practice providers across the Houston Methodist system using a robust tele-ICU platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in Neurocritical care.
• Fellowship in Neurocritical Care and board certification preferred.
• Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Telehealth/Tele-ICU experience preferred.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert virtual ICU care for neurocritical patients.
• Collaborate with intensivists, neurologists, neurosurgeons and APPs.
• Coordinate management of complex neurological illnesses virtually.
• Support tele-ICU operations with a multidisciplinary team.

This physician will provide expert virtual care for critically ill patients including critically ill neurological, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes across the Houston Methodist system.
