Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group seeks a Virtual ICU Nocturnist specialized in Neuro Critical Care to join our expanding telemedicine team supporting one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers. You will provide expert virtual care for critically ill neurologic patients and collaborate across the Houston Methodist system.

Qualifications

• Experience in Neurocritical care.
• Fellowship training and Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurocritical Care preferred.
• Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain a Texas license.
• Prior Telehealth or Tele-ICU experience preferred, but not required.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert virtual care for critically ill patients, including neurocritical cases, across the Houston Methodist system.
• Coordinate management of complex neurological illnesses via tele-ICU infrastructure.
• Collaborate with intensivists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, and advanced practice providers.
• Support an academic medical center with a telemedicine model and high patient-centered outcomes.
