Job summary

Stride, Inc. seeks a High School Severe and Profound Special Education Teacher for Oklahoma Virtual Academy (OVCA). The role is virtual with Oklahoma residency requirements, focusing on delivering individualized instruction aligned to IEPs and collaborating with families.

You will manage IEPs, progress reports, and related state documentation while providing engaging online learning experiences for students in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and valid teaching license.
• Severe and Profound SPED endorsement required.
• Ability to clear background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all special education and related services are provided as determined by the IEP team.
• Communicate with parents and related service staff to ensure appropriate therapies are delivered.
• Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports, and state-required documentation.
• Facilitate and lead annual IEP meetings and other special education meetings.
• Use provided resources to ensure accommodations and modifications per the IEP.
• Modify Stride K12 lessons and assessments as specified by the IEP.
• Maintain inclusion and progress of students in general education.
• Collect data and work samples to monitor IEP goals.
• Document all contact with parents and interventions.
• Analyze data to prescribe remediation and enrichment as needed.
• Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences.
