Guidelight Health, a cutting-edge behavioral health company, seeks a Colorado-licensed therapist to deliver virtual PHP/IOP services via telehealth. This per diem evening role is remote and MST-aligned, focusing on group therapy coverage in a supportive virtual setting.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, provide individual and group therapy, and collaborate with a distributed care team to ensure high-quality, continuous care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • Valid Colorado independent licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT).
  • Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
  • Willing to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians as part of Guidelight’s supervision program.
  • Demonstrated experience providing behavioral therapy, counseling and group therapy.
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual/telehealth settings.
  • Comfort with technology and HIPAA-compliant platforms.
  • Strong virtual engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while connected to a distributed virtual team.
  • Commitment to inclusive virtual group culture.

Responsabilités

  • Conduct psychological and biopsychosocial assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plans to create a cohesive case conceptualization.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and continuity of care.
  • Complete suicide risk assessment within identified time frames and with appropriate thoroughness and scoring.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews determining length of stay and level of care.
  • Assess and identify community resources based on clients’ needs during treatment and aftercare planning.
  • Adhere to standardized Group Curriculum and Treatment Planning.
  • Educate clients and families about mental health and behavioral issues while building supportive relationships.
  • Come prepared to weekly clinical supervision with relevant client updates and questions.
  • Adhere to confidentiality and ethical guidelines as outlined by standards and laws.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and developments in behavioral therapy and mental health.

Colorado Virtual Evening Per Diem Therapist

Requirements:
  • Licensure: Must be independently licensed as a therapist in the state of Colorado (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
    • Three years of post-independent licensure experience is highly preferred.
  • Group Therapy: Experience providing Group Therapy is required. Virtual Group Therapy highly preferred.
  • Setting: Experience working in IOP/PHP settings is preferred.
Schedule:
  • Per Diem Expectations: Evening Per Diem Therapists are expected to work a minimum of 8 hours per month, and will not exceed 10 hours per week. PRN shifts fall within the11:00 AM–7:30 PM MST schedule and are scheduled based on coverage needs. Primary responsibilities will include providing coverage for group therapy; however, there may be occasions when individual client support is needed based on client needs and clinical presentation.
RoleSummary:

Virtual Therapists are responsible for providing high-quality care and therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various behavioral issues. The therapist will use telehealth to facilitate 1:1 and group therapy, develop and implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective behavioral health interventions.

Guidelight is committed to the professional growth and development of therapists and provides free clinical supervision hours to support clinicians.

RoleResponsibilities/Competencies:

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensiveandcontinuityofcare.
  • Completes suicide risk assessment within identifiedtime framesand withappropriate thoroughnessand scoringwhile consulting with clinical leaders.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviewsdetermininglength of stay and level of care.

Required Qualifications
  • Amaster's degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

  • If eligible based on licensure status and applicable state regulations, must be willing to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians as part of Guidelight’s supervision program. This includes actively supporting the development of associate licensed professionals in accordance with organizational standards and state-specific supervisory requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience providingbehavioral therapy,counselingandgroup therapy.
  • Ability to manage clients effectively invirtual settings, including adapting interventions to a telehealth environment.
  • Comfort and competence with technology, including navigating HIPAA-compliant video platforms, EMRs, and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Strong engagement skills in a virtual space(ability to build rapport,maintaingroup cohesion, and intervene effectively when clients disengage).
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learntelehealth best practices, including crisis response and safety planning in a remote setting.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while stayingclosely connectedto adistributed virtual team.
  • Commitment to creating asupportive and inclusive virtual group culturethat mirrors the Guidelight client experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experiencefacilitatinggroup therapy in an IOP/PHP/RES/IP setting.
  • Experience working virtually
  • 3 years' experience post independent licensure
