Guidelight Health, Inc. is seeking a Virtual Evening Per Diem Therapist in Colorado to deliver 1:1 and group therapy via telehealth. The role supports PHP/IOP clients in a remote MST setting, with supervision hours offered and a focus on clinical excellence.

You will develop treatment plans, conduct assessments, and collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and doctors to ensure continuity of care. Licensure in CO is required and additional licenses may be pursued.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses as requested.
  • Provide formal clinical supervision to associates as part of Guidelight’s program.
  • Experience in behavioral therapy, counseling and group therapy.
  • Ability to manage clients effectively in virtual settings including telehealth.
  • Comfort with technology and navigating HIPAA-compliant platforms.

Department/Location: Remote (MST)

FLSA Status: Non - Exempt

Requirements
  • Licensure: Must be independently licensed as a therapist in the state of Colorado (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
    • Three years of post-independent licensure experience is highly preferred.
  • Group Therapy: Experience providing Group Therapy is required. Virtual Group Therapy highly preferred.
  • Setting: Experience working in IOP/PHP settings is preferred.
Schedule
  • Per Diem Expectations: Evening Per Diem Therapists are expected to work a minimum of 8 hours per month, and will not exceed 10 hours per week. PRN shifts fall within the 11:00 AM–7:30 PM MST schedule and are scheduled based on coverage needs. Primary responsibilities will include providing coverage for group therapy; however, there may be occasions when individual client support is needed based on client needs and clinical presentation.
Role Summary

Virtual Therapists are responsible for providing high-quality care and therapeutic services to individuals dealing with various behavioral issues. The therapist will use telehealth to facilitate 1:1 and group therapy, develop and implement treatment plans, conduct assessments, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective behavioral health interventions. Guidelight is committed to the professional growth and development of therapists and provides free clinical supervision hours to support clinicians.

  • Conduct psychologicalandbiopsychosocialassessments and evaluations todetermineclients' needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress and adjust treatment plansto create a cohesive case conceptualization.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical doctors, to provide comprehensiveandcontinuityofcare.
  • Completes suicide risk assessment within identifiedtime framesand withappropriate thoroughnessand scoringwhile consulting with clinical leaders.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviewsdetermininglength of stay and level of care.
  • Assess andidentifycommunity resources based onclientsneeds during treatment/ aftercare planning.
  • Adhere to all standardized Group Curriculum and Treatment Planning.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health and behavioral issueswhile building supportive and trusting relationships
  • Comes preparedtoweekly clinical supervision with relevant client updates, case formulations, and questions to support high-quality care.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and laws.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and developments in behavioral therapy and mental health.

Required Qualifications
  • Amaster's degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses, as requested
  • If eligible based on licensure status and applicable state regulations, must be willing to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians as part of Guidelight’s supervision program. This includes actively supporting the development of associate licensed professionals in accordance with organizational standards and state-specific supervisory requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience providingbehavioral therapy,counselingandgroup therapy.
  • Ability to manage clients effectively in virtual settings , including adapting interventions to a telehealth environment.
  • Comfort and competence with technology , including navigating HIPAA-compliant video platforms, EMRs, and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Strong engagement skills in a virtual space (ability to build rapport,maintaingroup cohesion, and intervene effectively when clients disengage).
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn telehealth best practices , including crisis response and safety planning in a remote setting.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while stayingclosely connectedto a distributed virtual team .

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experiencefacilitatinggroup therapy in an IOP/PHP/RES/IP setting.
  • Experience working virtually
  • 3 years' experience post independent licensure
