Candidates should have NYS Teacher’s Assistant Certification (level 1–3) or the ability to obtain it, plus an associate or higher degree and familiarity with educational technology.

Qualifications

• Proficient in delivering instruction in a virtual environment.
• Able to support live classes, track progress, and communicate with guardians.
• Experience with instructional software and educational technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructor with lesson planning, materials, and setup.
• Support classroom management and foster a positive virtual learning space.
• Provide individual or small-group support to students online.
• Assist in lab/workshop setup and safety oversight in a virtual context.
• Maintain attendance records and help prepare instructional materials.
