Qualifications

• Enrolled in a four-year college/university, a two-year technical school, or has a High School diploma/GED.
• Major or interest in Engineering, Computer Aided Drafting and Design, or related field.
• Demonstrate a proactive, open-minded approach, eagerness to learn, and ability to collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in real projects within various departments of Lighthouse Electric.
• Gain hands-on experience in Construction and Virtual Design Construction (VDC).
• Contribute ideas and collaborate effectively with team members.

Our Virtual Design Construction internship program goes beyond a traditional summer job; it is a professional and educational experience designed to equip interns with the expertise needed for a successful postgraduate career in Engineering, Construction, and Virtual Design.

Lighthouse Electric seeks motivated individuals who aspire to make a positive impact in their community and grow personally and professionally. Our ideal VDC internship candidates should:

• Be enrolled in a four‑year institution, two‑year technical school, or possess a High School diploma/GED.
• Have a major or interest in Engineering, Computer Aided Drafting and Design, or a related field.
• Demonstrate a proactive, open‑minded approach, a strong eagerness to learn, contribute ideas, and collaborate effectively within a team.

Duration Of Internship & Expected Work Hours

Anticipated Start Date: May 17th, 2027.

8-12 Weeks; Monday-Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm

Location: Canonsburg Office (In Office Internship/No Remote)
