Job summary

Lighthouse Electric Co., Inc. offers a Project Management internship designed to provide hands-on experience across multiple departments in Canonsburg. You will work with mentors to develop essential skills and gain exposure to construction management in a commercial setting.

Anticipated start is May 17th, 2027. The program runs 8–12 weeks, Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3:00 pm, at the Canonsburg Office and various job sites (local travel during business hours).

Qualifications

  • Be enrolled in a four-year institution, two-year technical school, or possess a High School diploma/GED.
  • Major or interest in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field or equivalent training/experience.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, open-minded approach, strong eagerness to learn, contribute ideas, and collaborate within a team.

Job Description

Lighthouse Electric extends hands-on work experience opportunities to college students and post-high-school individuals through our internship program. Interns will actively engage in real projects within various departments of the company, gaining valuable skills and knowledge. Our Project Management internship goes beyond a traditional summer job; it is a professional and educational experience designed to equip interns with the expertise needed for a successful postgraduate career. We highly value the internship experience when considering candidates for future roles within our company, aiming to cultivate the next generation of Project Managers. Our ideal Project Management internship candidates should:

Duration of Internship & Expected Work Hours: Anticipated Start Date: May 17th, 2027. 8-12 Weeks; Monday-Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm Location: Canonsburg Office and various job sites (travel is primarily local during the business day) This is a paid internship, and compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
