Virtual Cyber Security SDR, BDR, Contract to Hire
Location: United States (Virtual with Travel Throughout the US)

Their team of experts provides comprehensive cybersecurity solutions that empower organizations to navigate the complex digital landscape with confidence.

Position Summary:

As a Virtual SDR, BDR at our client, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our cybersecurity solutions across the United States. Being among the first 20 employees, you will significantly influence the company's direction and growth. Their recent seed round raised $11M at a $36M valuation, and the founders' previous venture resulted in a major exit with Microsoft.

This role operates in the IT Security space and is 100% virtual. You will leverage your technical expertise and sales skills to provide strategic guidance and support to clients throughout the sales process. The position offers a unique blend of technical knowledge, sales skills, and nationwide travel opportunities.

We Are Looking For:

As a mid-level Business Development Rep. (BDR/SDR), you will be responsible for researching and qualifying top-of-funnel leads, making initial contact with potential customers. You will research, build contact lists, and make outbound cold calls/emails to prospects fitting our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). You will partner with AEs to onboard customers. Expect to spend about 80% of your time on prospecting via phone or email. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals to gain in-depth sales experience within a rapidly growing SaaS security company.

What You’ll Do:
  1. Generate high-quality MQLs through calls, emails, events, webinars, and other marketing channels.
  2. Make daily outbound calls/emails to interested prospects.
  3. Follow up consistently until meetings are scheduled or the prospect is moved through the funnel.
  4. Record all activities and manage lead stages in Salesforce CRM.
  5. Achieve or exceed monthly quotas for meetings, demos, and qualified leads with AEs.
  6. Schedule product demos on AE's calendar.
  7. Discern buyer intent and collaborate with AEs to onboard the right customers.
  8. Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to communicate feedback and optimize strategies.
What You’ll Need:
  1. BDR/SDR experience in SaaS or similar software.
  2. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read prospect signals and adapt accordingly.
  3. Professional phone presence and Zoom skills to engage prospects effectively.
  4. Hands-on experience with prospecting techniques like cold calling, emailing, video selling, and social outreach.
  5. Knowledge of sales funnels, playbooks, and marketing constructs.
  6. Great listening skills, objection handling, and clear communication of next steps.
  7. Strong writing skills to craft compelling emails and responses.
  8. Proven success and goal attainment in sales roles.
  9. Deep familiarity with software and social networks (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter).
  10. Track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  11. Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented.
  12. Experience in fast-growing startups is a plus.
