Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood seeks a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant to remotely monitor patients at risk for falls, injury or self-harm, and to communicate concerns to the care team in real time. You will document activity, protect privacy, and support compassionate care from a remote station.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Watch patients with continuous focus to ensure safety and well-being.
• Identify risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alert the care team.
• Document patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity.
• Honor patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion and teamwork.
