Job summary

QuickMD is hiring physicians for fully virtual, independent-contractor roles across the United States. Work from anywhere with no office overhead, scheduling 15–20 hours per week across four days.

Compensation is per completed consult: $35, with an effective hourly range from $105 to over $210 as visit times shorten; top earners exceed $260K annually. Licenses in multiple states are supported and paid for.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states.
• Willingness to obtain additional licenses (expenses covered).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL where required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment)
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices
