Job summary

QuickMD is seeking dedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in at least five U.S. states to join our fully virtual team.

Work from anywhere delivering high-quality telemedicine care with no traditional practice constraints. As independent contractors, you’ll earn $35 per completed consult with compensation that scales by visit length, typically around $105/hour for 20-minute visits, up to $210/hour for shorter times.

Qualifications

• Active medical license in at least five U.S. states with willingness to obtain additional licenses (coverage of costs).
• Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice.
• Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly across four days, with schedules submitted one week in advance.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to clinical excellence.
• Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
• Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required.
• Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments and medical history reviews.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships.
• Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (no C2 prescriptions except buprenorphine for OUD).
• Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care.
• Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices.
